bpomps215 Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 hey guys im new to here i just bought a 2003 banshee, this is my first banshee and i need help with jetting the banshee is completley stock and the kid i bought it from told me it was jetted for winter, i live in stamford ct right now it about in the high 30' Fahrenheit. i took it out to ride and it seems when i hit the throttle right from idling it not all there and sometimes the bike dies,im thinking its a pilot jet problem but im not sure if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated thanks Quote

Larry's Shee Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 Do one carb at a time. They have carb specific parts, that will fit on the wrong carb. Don't forget to install choke crossover tube. Might be wise to invest in Clymers repair manual too Quote

Larry's Shee Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 The air screws will be wherever the engine tells you it wants them. Start at 1 1/2 out from lightly seated. About how many holes? Since you don't know elevation, tell us where you ride. What's the coldest temps you will ride in? Quote
bpomps215 Posted December 17, 2014 Author Report Posted December 17, 2014 I just have the banshee to mess around with i ride in a parking lot becouse theres no trails by my house and i ride in the snow around my neoborhood and stuff, there is about 27 half of an inch holes in the airbox lid Quote
