Rage_kage Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 I disassembled my main and counter shafts so I could get the metal out, I did one at a time not to get parts mixed up. I did the countershaft today and I had one bonus part. A thrust washer, I looked at the parts breakdown, took it apart and reassembled it a couple times, if any one has a idea on where it goes that would be great Quote
Cascade Innovations Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Judging by your picture, it looks like the Idler gear shim (goes behind the idler gear) It also looks like the 2nd pinion gear shim, but that is on the main shaft, so if you did take them apart 100% seperately, it would not be that. camatv Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 bring up an OEM microfish picture pretty sure that is number 29. on the very first gear that slides down the shaft it is the washer before the circlip. so time to take it all back apart. Quote
Rage_kage Posted December 12, 2014 Author Report Posted December 12, 2014 It wont fit over the splined part of the shaft so I guess its got to be somewhere on the idler gear Quote
camatv Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 ok then it goes right behind the idler. Quote
