sprinklerman Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 At LS I'd worry more about setup ( chassis, suspension, tire)than I would motor size. Quote

JTmachining Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Redline Racing 10mil SC FTW. No epoxy etc needed. Very good power. Quote
87sheestillkickin Posted October 13, 2014 Author Report Posted October 13, 2014 Never thought about that ...... Quote
dozer Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 you ever race your 10 cheetah out there? it went like a 3.79 in 300ft didnt it? i would build a 10 cub/super cub. plenty of torque and still able to rev a good bit. David and kyle Hartes 421's both ran great out there this year too though. Quote
dave5.0 Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 How much difference between a 10 cub and a 4 mill super cub? Or maybe a ported 4 mill super serval? Quote
87sheestillkickin Posted October 13, 2014 Author Report Posted October 13, 2014 Nah i never raced the cheetah there, im going to give cam a call Quote
trickedcarbine Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 How was the one you rode? ^ My 4DM always ran hot(ter) than my buddies cub, obviously. If riding is something you like to do, do a cub. I actually got to beat one up in silver lake. It was not to shabby. The guy had it in a pretty decent hybrid dual arm chassis. It could be hot lapped 5-6 times on the strip, but if you were just doing casual duning it did ok as long as there was some wind in the radiator. Quote
Brian Mcgowan Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 seen a lot of junk that was really fast. I've had a lot of cub cylinders out of round out of the box. but a lot of guys on this forum like them. guess some are lucky. how much money are you willing to spend? what's your budget? Quote
