Rapture Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) One of the domes in my stock head has a small hole about 1.5mm. I have never messed around with domes or know much about them. Are stock domes replaceable or do i need a new head? I have a option to buy a Athena cool head with 68mm 19cc domes... can i run this with a stock engine on normal pump gas? Edited September 26, 2014 by Rapture Quote
BUILDER Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Stock domes can not be replaced head is one piece. Why would you run a 68mm dome on a motor that has 64mm pistons in it. To answer your question no that will not work. Quote
Rapture Posted September 26, 2014 Author Report Posted September 26, 2014 Ok so i need a new head. If i found a coolhead somewhere whats the lowest cc 64mm dome i could run on normal gas/stock engine? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 What's your avg elevation? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Better question. What fuel do you wanna run? 21-22 CC should be ok for the fuel you get out of a pump there. 20 and under will require some octane. Quote
