Clutch basket

I just bought a clutch basket used and I was wondering if this looked ok, and also there's past in the gear to basket not in rotation but back to front not much, don't really know much about clutches so hopefully someone can chime in.also does anyone know what kind of basket this is?

Bolts are ground down like that from a wobbling kick start idler gear, I would recommend removing those and installing new blots at the least. Mattoon machine sells a hd backing plate and bolt set that would fix you right up. Also don't forget to replace/check your idler gear for wear and install a new clip and washer to prevent this from happening again

Thanks for the input! Well probably have more questions waiting on more parts so.by any chance u have any idea what kind of basket this is it has banshee stamped on it

Probably an ebay special but there is nothing wrong with the baskets. the cushions and backing plates are the problem areas which you will probably be replacing so no worries

Dumb question but where do the cushions go?

Underneath the backing plate. That's what the bolts are holding down.

There's a orange o ring behind the factory basket and in front of the gear

Most say the orange shim is not needed but I have found it eliminates that play you were referring to in your original post

Thank u I will put it in the new basket and just bought the new mattoon back plate with cushions and bolts once again thanks for the input!
