roblipka6banshee
I have 2 06' banshees one is special edition and both have different mods and both have tors removed. My problem is as soon as I go through even a little bit of water they bog down and quit on me, start them up rev em for a bit and I'm good to go again. Something must be getting wet? ETR174
Are you going fast through it and what air filter set up?
trickedcarbine
Brake clean and Dielectric grease on all connections Better filter set up with outer wear
sleeper06
Check both stator side covers if it gets wet in there it will ground itself out , I have actuall worked on few that have trapped water. My ohm meter was going crazy and I narrowed it down to that. Obviously check all of harness for tears and possible shorts good luck
03DMshee
When tors were removed was the harness removed and all wires cut out completely? My guess is they cut the wires off flush at harness wrap and the water is connecting a circuit. ... Also remove your green/yellow wire from CDI so no future issues.... ETR174
Well that's probably why is because it is getting in your air filter. If you are running pods make a custom air box out of scrap metal or something and cover it all around. Just leave an open top. Either that or put the stock air box back on, take the lid off and possibly rejet. Someone will have to confirm the rejet.
roblipka6banshee
One has the filter box still and is worse Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
03DMshee
Did you remove the harnesses and go through the electrical?
roblipka6banshee
No I haven't I'm going to start with some easier stuff. Didn't really want to take it that far apart but if that's what it comes to I'm saving that as last resort haha. 03DMshee
Your harness takes about a half hour tops to remove....
ETR174
Its a bitch to get it all out because you have to remove the front plastics and gas tank but that's about the only other explanation.
