I stick with the gold DID chains. Also replace sprockets at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Banshee + Water = Problems
roblipka6banshee replied to Hellbroke's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I used to have another banshee aswell and it was nothing but problems in water. My new one was all modded by a previous owner and I see he did some soddering where the slides go into the cap. Maybe that's the weak spot I dunno. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I have no air box on mine, flew through some water where the 4x4 were going and at the other end had a momentary bog but kept'er going and all was good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Thanks guys, going to look for a gold renthal 44 for the rear 13 up front and a steel DID chiain. I use the motul c3 chain lube every ride. My banshee has aluminum cool head and v force 3 reed block + some basic upgrades and runs on 110 race fule. No matter what I do it should still head out pretty good. I'll post a pic when it's back together Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Sprocket question
roblipka6banshee replied to roblipka6banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
It's way to big for the skid plate. I had my neighbour who's a welder make it bigger for me but I have a stock skid plate I want to run instead. The droped one dosent leave much clearance and there's rocks and trees where I ride so I don't want to start damaging things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Thanks, might try 13/42 or 45. The 52 is a blast, ppl I ride with all have 2 stroke bikes so I like the accel cuz it just blows ppls minds haha. I ride in tighter places so I don't hit my top speed to offen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What's the biggest sprocket I can fit with the stock skid guard? Currently I have a 52 and 14. But I want the skid guard back on for where I ride but want to keep as much acceleration as I can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm selling one of my banshees, a guy came by to look at it and he brought a compression tester, got just over 90 on both sides. Is that low enough that it needs a rebuild or is it still fine? It runs fine so I never thought of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No I haven't I'm going to start with some easier stuff. Didn't really want to take it that far apart but if that's what it comes to I'm saving that as last resort haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

About 1100 meters above sea and temperature verys to much to base anything on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Got a 06 banshee. Full fmf and k&n air filter no air box lid. Running stock jets and I'm wondering what I'm supposed to run. Should the main and pilot go up sizes or just one of them and roughly how many sizes bigger should I try first. Also I love in alberta I do most of my riding at a pretty high elevation. Need help with tors wires
roblipka6banshee replied to roblipka6banshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Cleaned the carbs. Has lot of compression when you kick it. Jets are stock. Air screw is at 2 turns. And a new filter is on it. Idle screws as far as you can go evenly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

roblipka6banshee replied to roblipka6banshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Tried 8 before and it ran worse. Was adjusting the carbs and got it to a point where it seemed ok for a bit then it would climb and idle high. Release the clutch and it kicked back down. Also carbs arnt adjusted the same so tomorrow's project is taking them apart. I've spent more time working on this then I've gotten to ride it. Thanks for the help btw, I've been getting fusterated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

It wouldn't be that. I'm think I'm going to take the carbs apart and see if anything is clogged or dirty. Not sure what else it could be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
