I have 2 06' banshees one is special edition and both have different mods and both have tors removed. My problem is as soon as I go through even a little bit of water they bog down and quit on me, start them up rev em for a bit and I'm good to go again. Something must be getting wet?

Check both stator side covers if it gets wet in there it will ground itself out , I have actuall worked on few that have trapped water. My ohm meter was going crazy and I narrowed it down to that. Obviously check all of harness for tears and possible shorts good luck

When tors were removed was the harness removed and all wires cut out completely? My guess is they cut the wires off flush at harness wrap and the water is connecting a circuit. ...

Also remove your green/yellow wire from CDI so no future issues....

Well that's probably why is because it is getting in your air filter. If you are running pods make a custom air box out of scrap metal or something and cover it all around. Just leave an open top. Either that or put the stock air box back on, take the lid off and possibly rejet. Someone will have to confirm the rejet.

Its a bitch to get it all out because you have to remove the front plastics and gas tank but that's about the only other explanation.
