hoppedupandcutdown Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 no, just flooded. But don't get your hopes up. Hard to tell from your description of the chain of events as to what could have happened. Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 When you pull the plugs and kick, KEEP THE SWITCH OFF. If your cylinder is full of fuel and your kicking away splashing gas out all over everything, Last thing you need is a spark arching out. 1 Quote
timothy kaim Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 Very good point.thanks Quote
timothy kaim Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 Pulled the plugs and nothing, guess I'll pull the stator cover and hope the spring is stuck or some shitttttttt Quote
wayne_smith97 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Your gonna have to pull clutch side cover Quote
timothy kaim Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 Ya that's what I ment to say if I move it by hand like back and forth it will go down but that's just gradually? Hopefully the spring is off Quote
timothy kaim Posted September 16, 2014 Author Report Posted September 16, 2014 Well here it is guy I bought it from said he just replaced the clutch plates and put hd springs haven't even rode this thing since I bought it.what would make this happen? just got done rebuilding it. Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 It was assembled wrong. The pressure plate goes on 3 ways properly and he missed. Quote
troyzstang Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 Looks like you may have got somewhat lucky. Stock baskets are fairly cheap. Post in the wanted section and drink a beer. You should have plenty of responses before you finish your beer. ( or rootbeer depending on your age ) Quote
timothy kaim Posted September 16, 2014 Author Report Posted September 16, 2014 The basket and everything is waisted Quote
troyzstang Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 Easy fix. Should be able to get a complete set up for $60 bucks or so. Good luck Troy Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 Expensive lesson, but still got really lucky. Quote
