Pipe upgrade.

I currently have pro circuits on my bike. Theyre a nice all around pipe but i want something thats going to make a little more power. Im also tired of the poor finish on these pipes. They come from pro circuit with a nickle plated finish that rusts really really bad. Ive oiled them so many times and theyre still rusting.

Im wondering what kind of pipe would fit my riding style best. My bike is partly a trail bike, but i mostly do strait shots across fields.

My supporting mods are the following:

4 mil long rod crank

Hjr dune/play port

V force 2 reeds

K&n pods

28 pwks

Noss cool head with 21cc domes

Adj timing plate at +4

Buy one I those used sets of rockets. One of the bigger inframe pipes. Seems to make early power, but signs off a touch earlier then shearers. They are a damn good pipe for stock cylinders.

Seeing those pipes is what really gave me the motivation to switch to a better pipe. I run full front fenders, would the rockets still fit or will i have to trim the fenders?

Ive also been considering ct racing pipes. Theres a set local for sale that i could get pretty cheap.

You'll have to trim for rockets. Looks pretty slick though if done right

EVERY pipe that is worth a damn will require trimming the inside of front fenders

Damn, got pretty much the same bike. Not sure hp wise there will be another pipe that will make a bigger difference. The PCs are still pretty impressive.

i got LRD's they come in nice and early for the trail riding i do. and dont fall off until pretty damn high rpm.
