Cubshee421 Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Can you run at no link swing arm with stock shock? Or those it have to be a shaw Quote
special06shee Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Im sure it would fit. But it will not work right at all. For starters the shock will be at such a hard angle it will not be effective. And depending on the length of arm, the valving will be all f'ed up. Quote
Phelps Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 it would work just a tiny bit better than jacking off with a hand full of thorns. Quote
Cubshee421 Posted September 10, 2014 Author Report Posted September 10, 2014 The no link swing arm has the ears at the bottom right? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 It'll bolt up, but ride like dog shit. When you hit he brakes the ass will probably go sky high. Kinda scary at the end of a drag strip. Either need an swing arm set up correctly and the proper length shock/strut, Or modify the chassis with a different upper shock mount located up more and farther rearward. That way the shock is more vertical. Not so laid over. Although I know a couple guys in different styles of racing that have had Penske/axis build lay down shocks to go in the stock location that worked pretty well. Quote
