Using left front caliper as rear caliper

Whats the purpose of this mod? is the front caliper a lot better than the rear one?

sometimes rear calipers are hard to come by, i have piles of fronts.  it an oldschool drag strip trick, for when the rear seizes.

if you are using a vacuum it does not.

Air travels to the highest point. If the bleeder is at the bottom...

And thanks shreerider. ..I will definitely be trying this when I get home....also I heard there is some modifications that need to be done, but from what I've read and saw....seems to be none,...can some one clarify please

A vacuum bleeder. Harbor freight. Cheap, works, and worth it.

I have two rear calipers that's sticking....robbing me of hp. ...if the front sticks then I'll know it has to. Be the master cylinder

So all i need to do is put the rear caliper mount in the front caliper?

I put yfzs on the front of my turd and threw this one on. Worked out ok. Didn't notice any difference riding. I need to get one of those bent lines to clean things up a little.
