mxturd Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Im needing to replace my Pods fro 35mm carbs, and was wondering if anyone knew of a place with good prices. Thanks alot. Doug Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Call cam at redline. Order genuine K&N pods for 39s. There bigger and they clamp on really well I have them on my bike. Quote
mxturd Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Posted September 1, 2014 You run K&N for 39s on 35s, and there are no clamping issues? Cool! Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 No. Real K&N actually seal really well. I doubted cam at first too. But now that's what I order. There bigger and fit right. I think I paid like 115-125 shipped for them and outerwears Quote
mxturd Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Posted September 1, 2014 Ill be giving Cam a call on tuesday. Thanks sheerider Quote

trickedcarbine Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Jeff at FAST. They have decent angled pods for a good price with outer wears. I'm curious about the stuff for 39's. Are they longer with decent angle? Quote
sprinklerman Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Jeff at FAST. They have decent angled pods for a good price with outer wears. Only if they are genuine K&N. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Yeah, I am starting to definitely prefer the real ones for sure. The cheapys from Jeff seem to hold up ok and I haven't seen many of them come apart like I have some other stuff though. But I'm definitely wanting more filter for the winter time as the shroud I built blocks the bottom side air flow. So are the angled filters for 39's only 6", or longer? Any one have a part # I cold google. Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 I don't know the P/N. But when I called and asked air pods for the 35s, that's where he brought up the 39s and gave me the whole low down Quote
