CKylesworld Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I am about to change my clutch plate for a billet one. When I take the old plate off is there oil behind it. Will I have to drain the crank case oil first? Also I am going to add a billet water pump cover. Is there anything I need to do before I take the old one off. Like drain anything? Quote
streetshee Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 hopefully there isnt any oil in crankcase,u mean gearbox, simply drain oil(underneath motor 17mm spanner),as for water pump cover, shouldnt have to drain anything, somebody please correct me if im wrong? cover only covers the pump. seeya. SICK BOY Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 If your talking about just the clutch cover insert there is nothing behind it.Just take the three screws out and change it.The water pump cover is also just a unbolt and change. Quote
SCOTT PRESSLEY Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 What SICK BOY told ya just take off and put on. Quote
