apeik Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRWqVky2C7QRBgcFkxqEJqvAGq6bGL_sc I think this was someone from bhq that posted these, it's a rough idea what it takes to build/install a banshee motor from parts. Disclaimer...i have never watched these series 1-5, but i imagine it will give you a decent rough idea on what it takes to put a motor together. A basic motor swap takes literally a few hours with a manual if you have no expierence. 1 Quote

MoronG Posted August 6, 2014 Author Report Posted August 6, 2014 Will see in the morning what yamaha say anyway then well go from there Quote
trickedcarbine Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Really you think that's my best bet ? Just buy a motor from the us get it shipped d have to get yamaha t put t together an all..The idea behind buying a motor from somewhere like the US is to find a complete runner minus maybe carbs and a few other parts you can take from your current motor. Ultimately, I'd be willing to bet you can find a Complete motor that needs nothing. Just swap the motor. No need to have yamaha do the rebuild. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free 1 Quote
MoronG Posted August 6, 2014 Author Report Posted August 6, 2014 I finally get what ur trying to say lol Quote
BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 I'm mechanically inclined, not smart, and uncoordinated as fuck, and I can put an assembled motor in, have it plugged in and ready to start within a few hours. Buy a motor already done and just swap Em out it'd be cheaper then 3k, and if u know what to look for, u can get a bad ass motor from 1500 to 2000 1 Quote
MoronG Posted August 12, 2014 Author Report Posted August 12, 2014 That's the plan that an building a motor out of my one I got now slowly learning stuff..slowly but surely Quote
m671054 Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Anyone need a vacation? Im sure if dude bought a ticket and provided lodging someone could help put a motor in and learn you a few things. 1 Quote

m671054 Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Yep. Extra suit case with crank and top end. Probably cheaper than regular shipping. Quote
