Always order pistons after you have your machine shop check to ensure fitment. Better yet have them order for you.

Neither have 10hp piston skirt porting...would not hit.

IIRC it was only 7hp

 

That being said, I have only once put a new piston in an old hoe. Still regret it, even though never had any problems.

I think I would get a second opinion on the bore. They should be measured in six places. Front to back, side to side. Top, middle, bottom. That will tell out of round and taper.

Have to admit that's a pretty economical kit. Slightly more than one Wiseco.     :whoa:

I guess if he can fix it and get it rideable.....that wil be an event. LOL

I use WSM forged pistons in my cubs.  I only use wiseco if I have to.  The WSM cast pistons are a good alt. to OEM.  The pistons are only as good as the person installing them!

 

Can't stress enough that you make sure you use the proper bore spec for the piston being used!
