ryan954 Posted July 17, 2014 Report Share Posted July 17, 2014 Hey I'm new to the form. I just picked up a 97 banshee. It's has a 4 mil and some port work. It has cpi pipes a and vforce 3 reeds. The problem that I was having was its very hard to shift to forth gear. So I ordered a some stuff from fast racing. I got a new pancake bearing, modded shift star, modded shift shaft, ez shift spring, eccentric stud, shift shaft torsion spring, clutch cable, outer hub, clutch rod and ball, and clutch arm spring. Gears 1 through 3 shifts like a charm now. But I still can't get it into 4th gear. I'm lost and dnt know what to do next. trickedcarbine Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 Since you are opening it up, you might as well send your trans out for some work if you are covering all the bases.
