Cant get the axel out to replace bearings inside

hi guys i have a 2009 banshee and need to change the rear axel bearing they have ever been done before. So far i have taken the wheels hubs and the two nut near the sprocket off and tried to smash the axel out as i read on other post but it is not moving one bit is there any other way or am i doing it wrong

sometimes t takes a lil persuasion, penetrating oil, remove the carrier from the swingarm, stand it up in a corner, let oil soak in over night. then tap the carrier off it with a bfh.

alright so there on hidden screw you just have to smash it out once the two nuts are off

Get a big brass hammer and beat the fucker out

I had to have mine pressed out. Fucker soaked it oil for 3days and still wouldnt budge.

Take it to someone with a hydraulic press. Real easy and doesn't smash the threads on the end of the axle.

Heat it up! I just did this to a yfz 450 axel

tried heating it up then smashing it out didn't work so took it to a shop to get pressed out and they couldn't even get it out any other ideas

pop the seal out on the side the nut was on and stand on end and fill it with brake fluid and let it set for a couple of days and try again.

Your pressing towards the brake rotor right? A shop should have no issue

If a 10 ton hydraulic press won't get it out, it's not ever coming out.
