Langford Posted June 15, 2014 Report Share Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) No doubt, the "starting line" was sketchy as hell and the sand was soaked...launching was damn near impossible. Hopefully the big strip dries up this summer, I'm much more comfortable racing there...don't have to worry about idiots cutting across the strip in front of you, and it's a much bigger area...so you can move the starting line around as the sand starts getting rutted up. So what's the specs on your build? It ran very well. I was the fat kid on the white frame, green fender Raptor. Basically a full weight trail/dune bike, but I like playing on the strip with it. It's a stock motor with a bolt-on d7 kit...I was only hitting 8-10 psi all day, found one loose clamp early on, and found the head pipe clamp missing the pinch bolt as I was loading up to leave. *edit* The other white/black bike was a stock bore, stock stroke Cuervo 700.
