Strm Trpr Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 What jets are in the carbs? You said you just bought this banshee right? Are you using the same oil and fuel pre mix ratio as the PO? Was there a significant elevation change where you're riding now vs. where you bought the banshee? Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 Spark plug caps could be bad if it's making a "rev limiter" noise like on a streetbike in a high rpm Quote

Strm Trpr Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 Check your intakes for cracking around where the POS boost bottle attaches, especially on the right cylinder. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 If it were electrical it would be simular in lower gears. Clean timing nubs on flywheel, set pick-up gap. When you have checked ALL suggestions come back and tell us what you haven't checked, and FFS post up your jets, needle clip, air screw settings. Sounds to me it's running out of fuel at the end. JMHO, your results may,and will vary. Quote
ksw390 Posted June 3, 2014 Author Report Posted June 3, 2014 Ok I tore it apart again tonight 310 Mains 27.5 pilots and needles in the middle. But I have to apologize cause I was wrong it was the floats I totally missed it the other day when I had the carb off it was easy to miss cause it looked fine looking at one carb. today I took both off to check jets in both and the right carb float was up higher than the left by several degrees while sitting upside down. I matched the right to the left and bingo perfect. some guys myself including are just to stubborn to think they missed somthing. But much appreciation for pushing for the correct results thanks for the help Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk Quote
