DirectIntelect Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Just a quick question, is their a for sure way to ensure your forks are installed correctly. I mean I have the tranny in, but when I try and shift the shift star it seems to bind at times....what's the best way to ensure your forks are in right? Quote
dirtydownunder Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Turn the sprocket when ya go through the gears. Quote
Starwriter Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 The #2 fork goes in the left rear position. The #1 forks go right rear and front positions. If you got them in those positions, they're right. As mentioned, you have to turn the trans as you try to shift it. Also for the shafts to be in the right positions, the clutch basket, washers, hub and nut and the sprocket, spacer, and nut have to be installed. Quote
