Just a quick question, is their a for sure way to ensure your forks are installed correctly. I mean I have the tranny in, but when I try and shift the shift star it seems to bind at times....what's the best way to ensure your forks are in right?

The #2 fork goes in the left rear position. The #1 forks go right rear and front positions. If you got them in those positions, they're right. As mentioned, you have to turn the trans as you try to shift it. Also for the shafts to be in the right positions, the clutch basket, washers, hub and nut and the sprocket, spacer, and nut have to be installed.

DDQ and Windy are shift fork experts. They're so good at chaging forks.. They even change them when they're not bad!

I was the other asshole that buys new every time.

I just put new shift forks in my LT80 while I had the cases apart.

I dont ride that one either.  My 9yo does.. he's hard on forks.     Funny how my bikes never get rode.. But some how I'm all over in this video.

Now find some material of your own.  Or as always.. Just keep repeating what you hear.

I'm content with the amount of time I ride my drag bike.. If your not.. Then i dont think thats my problem.
