Frankthetank Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 I need to remove the powder coating that is inside by the rear carrier. Whenever I am on the gas the carrier spins and loosens the chain. I the bolts down tight but I think the powder coating is making it to smooth of a surface against the round carrier. Any suggestions? Quote

camatv Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 it happens with some swingarms.. grind it out with a round sanding drum on a die grinder. Quote
Starwriter Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Look at the tubes where the pinch bolts go through. See if they are touching each other when you tighten the bolts. I have a chrome Lonestar roundhouse swingarm that I had to grind the slots wider. Quote
