Was looking to buy first compression tester and a leakdown tester to have in the garage for when needed and such was curious to what brand to buy or if the cheap ones are fine was just glancing on ebay any info would be appreciated thanks

You make your own leak down tester for like 20-30 bucks. Get a half decent comp tester. You can bring a spark plug and see which one has the closet length adapter to get the most accuracy out of it

Sears has a decent compression tester. I've had mine for years and compared to snap on and mac's and its spot on.

Go to your local ACE hardware and you can build a leakdown tester. The only thing they won't have is the pressure gauge.

Go to the hardware store and buy the gauge setup for leakdown testing natural gas lines.

What if I'd rather go to Starwriter's store and buy one of those sweet Billit set ups?!
