Posted February 25, 2014 Report Share Posted February 25, 2014 7mil is the most stroke you can put in stock cylinders without sleeving them, the cases do require trenching fo anything over 4mil stroke. Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 Im going to go that route once its time for a rebuild!!I should have elaborated, you can put more than 7mil in stock cylinders but 7 is the most you can go without sleeving or spacer plate 7mil with stock base gaskets will leave 3.5mm of the crown out of the bore and put the top ring at deck height.
