87sheestillkickin Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Not sure what section to post this in but i have a 10mm cheetah and crank. Cyls are ported by precision powerspors. Have cyls, pistons, head, domes and crank and was wondering what something like that would be worth selling it. Im going with something bigger and ill no longer need it. All parts have 6 rides on them. All 3-400 ft drag. It is a 558cc set up Quote
m671054 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Bore size? what are you going to Quote
87sheestillkickin Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 Im going to a 14dm and lol skeeter i kno its worth more than that Quote
87sheestillkickin Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 I think it was a 74mm bore and a 120 rod Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Might as well go 18 or 20dm. Is there a reason why you are going just 14? Quote
87sheestillkickin Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 Wanting to do some 650 class stuff this year Quote
m671054 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 64x74 is not 558cc. try again. 1800 for cases crank and topend more like it. Quote
87sheestillkickin Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 74.5 mm bore sorry Quote
4millcheetah Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 This is a strong running motor. Good price Quote
10milmike Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 $1800 is a good price for a cheetah top end ported with Pistons, domes, head and Crank. Go and try to buy one new for anywhere near that price. Quote
lms1977 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 It is a good price.. But... They don't seem to sell for that kinda money no one really buys the cheetah stuff for good money. Quote
m671054 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Thats why i said he needed to include cases to get 1800. even though it only has a few passes you can never compare to new pricing. If your not specing the components its not worth new money. you might find tge porting or domes dont suit your needs or maybe it was assembled wrong? you never know. my advise is sell it complete after people get their tax returns come feb-mar. 1 Quote
