Whats going on BansheeHQ, my first post so excuse me if I don't do things right, Heres the deal I just bought my first quad (Banshee) 2 days ago. The bike had been sitting for months and doesn't start, so I cleaned carbs about 2 times I was lucky enough to get it started once but once I had started I felt the pipes and only one side had been firing. Any help will be great!!

Did you check spark plugs? Another thing to try is switching the plug wires between cylinders and see if the other side fires now. Best thing to do when getting a banshee and not having complete history records is do a compression test and a leakdown test and see where your at...I wouod try a compression test due to the fact its so easy even a caveman can do it...search leakdown test on here andbthat will get you heading in the right direction for that...a few simple tests will save you a lot of money and time chasing problems that a gauge can figure out for you...

Welcome to the darkside!

80s are too low but you could be using a bad compression tester. If the tester is good its time for a new top end.
