Banshee_Power13 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Whats going on BansheeHQ, my first post so excuse me if I don't do things right, Heres the deal I just bought my first quad (Banshee) 2 days ago. The bike had been sitting for months and doesn't start, so I cleaned carbs about 2 times I was lucky enough to get it started once but once I had started I felt the pipes and only one side had been firing. Any help will be great!! Quote

03DMshee Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Did you check spark plugs? Another thing to try is switching the plug wires between cylinders and see if the other side fires now. Best thing to do when getting a banshee and not having complete history records is do a compression test and a leakdown test and see where your at...I wouod try a compression test due to the fact its so easy even a caveman can do it...search leakdown test on here andbthat will get you heading in the right direction for that...a few simple tests will save you a lot of money and time chasing problems that a gauge can figure out for you... Banshee_Power13 Posted December 31, 2013 Author Report Posted December 31, 2013 Okay I just went out and bought a compression test kit and im getting 80 psi on both cylinders. Im assuming that's not good. Both reeds have no cracks, breaks and do shut. Quote
