Need some help

K guys i just got my namura top end rebuild kit and need some help i know where some of these go like the water pump gasket and the small squares they for the reeds (right?) and the silver one is for the head... now my question is where do the rest go..

It would be a very good idea to buy a clymers manual. You won't regret it. They help you learn a lot and could end up saving yourself a lot of headaches

I download all my manuals from tradebit.com 5-8 dollars instant download I have probably 20 manuals on my pc check it out

take about 10 minutes and you will have it on your pc

I've yet to figure out where those round paper gaskets go. Just an fyi...with the cheap namura paper gaskets you better hope you don't have to take it back apart to repair an air leak or anything because if you do those gaskets will probably rip to pieces. Next time spend the extra money to get cometic, its worth it.

Oh had no idea there was a diff thought it was all the same... Hopefully it last me for a bit

Just coat all paper gaskets with a light layer of grease Between your fingers. They will last for years with taking the parts apart as the gaskets will not stick.

 

Using the same clutch cover gasket and others for 4 years now on this one bike, taken off a bunch of times , still seals and doesn't stick.

 

Just saying... Carry on.

x2 I grease mine as well and it works pretty slick. You can download but Id pick up a hard copy of the manual.
