Hey guys i have a quick question is there a possible way to tune the bike to make gas last a lil longer then it normally does? No big mods just uni filters fmf pipes mikuni carbs 28mm (i believe)

K guys i just got my namura top end rebuild kit and need some help i know where some of these go like the water pump gasket and the small squares they for the reeds (right?) and the silver one is for the head... now my question is where do the rest go..

You know the which tool ill need that comes with a gauge or guide on it to know how much torque/pressure iv given it?

K kool thanks for the info everyone.... I got another question when putting back together besides the flywheel (from what iv been told) do most of the other screw/nuts gotta be torqued down with certain lbs of torque pressure? Cuz im trying to save 150$ on having the mechanic put it back together and was just gonna do it myself with youtube help and manual

The genious mechanic i let do my work brought down my jet from a 320 to 300 and the mechanic that did my engine said that it was leaning out too much and popped my left piston so i need a new set and now im just trying to maintain these for a while so i dont gotta waste another couple hundred fixing another blown piston

Just got my engine back from a new set of wiesco 64 and a half pistons and now gonna put it back together with new gaskets now i have a question now that i have this new top end rebuild... I was told the first tank of gas to baby it let the pistons get lubed up and no WOT till after that first tank (correct?) now after that how often should i do maintenance on the bike every ride/month/few months? And what are the major maintenances? Thanks

Ragun im not trying to race just get some extra speed because i know when my boys bike comes back hes gonna have alot more power then when he sent it in im not trying to abuse the engine either im trying to keep it arud for a good while.... I wasnt gonna do a crazy port just a good one or even trail port to get some extra torque speed K&n what pipes you recommend (im thinking toomeys?)? And as for the domes what size you think i should get? I dont know anything about domes only that alot of people add them lol... Yea timing plate iv seen makes a diff so i was gonna get that as well any good ones of he top of your head... Like i said im not trying to do crazy mods to catch up because they way we ride i dont wanna beat the motor up for hours unless it could take it... Any ideas of me getting the bigger radiator to keep engine cooler?

You mean a 4mil crank setup also or no? And changing the pistons is only for racing?

No type of racing just his bike came with that setup he just never knew it since he never opened up the bike to see inside now sonce he has it he might as well have it upgraded now that the mechanic has it opened... we normally do trails and every now and then well hit the streets

Hey guys i got a question for yall my bikes gonna be hitting the shop soon im pretty much stock just reeds and fmf pipes... Now my boy just found out his bike has a 4 mil with a port and is going up in piston size to a 65mm now i know hes gonna be making nice power... My question is if i go up to a size or 2 from my size now (i think its a 63/64mm) with a nice port job done will i be able to keep up (not tryin to be faster just stay close/next to) or is that still not enough.... Advice needed for whatever mods that arent going to kill my pockets thanks

Question is there a way to see and measure the cylinders or would it be easier to have a mechanic look at it.... And what pistons d you recommend that isnt too crazy on price because i have a decent budget but dont wanna go overboard.... By the way my friend has the same problem as me except his piston actually snapped and was told to open the shee engine to check for the snapped piece should i open mine up as well and see if amy metal grindings from the piston landed in my engine?

So your saying to go get the cylinders checked out and see what size piston is suppose to fit properly in that bore without that much extra space?

Gotcha thanks yea as i told starwriter ima do that and see what it comes back as and i guess repost or read a comment to see where i might be having the problem.... Question for trails doing a 4mil is not necessary right because thats more drag? And is there any way to save some gas on the banshee like a fuel pressure regulator or anything.... Because although im not trying to drag race i wanna be able to go fast and not be having to stop at every gas station to fill up and get oil get me

K and if it as any compression that is too high or too low where the problem/part normally be with? Engine or something very basic?
