Out riding on the ice yesterday. Ran the bowls out of fuel and now have 120/150 psi compression.

Motor is redline ported 370lr, shearers, 35pwks.

Ordered a dual pingle and some new rings yesterday. Should this flow enough for me or do I need to find some big bowls too?

Wondering if I really need them. I'm poor. Will the dual pingle be enough? If I was just worried about "looking cool" I'd get some white sunglasses or something

I pulled the head off and the cylinders look good. I'll find out when I get home tonight and take the jugs off

Never heard of melted pistons being fixed by new rings. Usually melts the face of the piston on the exhaust side and sorta smears aluminum across the rings and sticks the rings in the piston. You may not have done any damage at all if the cyls look good. You will have to look at the front side of the pistons. That can also be done by just taking the exhaust off.

Vent is clear, I'll gut the cap tonight (hadn't thought of that thanks). I'm just going to get the bowls to be safe I guess. And yes I rejetted for the weather.

I'm almost positive I ran it dry. Was going around the track for about 3 laps at almost wot the whole time

I'll throw up some pics on here when I get home and see the extent of the damage. Good thing I have a month before racing starts
