ledofthezep Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I also run a steering damper, so no wierd kicks in the trails for me!!! What brand of damper are you using? Are they worth the $$? Quote
boonman Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I am running a "special damper". I made it myself. I ordered a gas spring, (adjustable of course) from McMaster Carr wharehouse, and put it on. I also had put provisions on the steering stem I made for the damper, and it works beautifully. But I hear the Denton's are nice. I had some prior knowledge that I believe carried over from the streetbike world... Quote
Blue Duece Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Scotts stabilizer only way to go.....makes the denton feel shitty, 3 times the skins though.... Quote
boonman Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 That's the problem. Too much $$ for my broke ass!!!!! I try to do things the cheap way myself. Most bang for the buck. If I had the loot though, you can bet on it that scotts would be on my bike!! Quote

banshee tuner Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 I FLIPPED MY FRONT AND BACK RIMS. I HAVE NOT MEASURED YET BUT THE FRONT ARE THE SAME WIDTH. THE SHEE IS SO STABLE NOW THAT I WOULD NOT REVERSE THEM BACK. Quote
