Trade t5's for trail friendly pipes

Possibly looking to trade my chrome t5 pipes for something that offers more bottom end. I just broke my motor in and not a huge fan of te light swich powerband. I ride tight trails. Not looking for any 2 into 1 pipes. Leaning towards pc, pt mids, or dmc. Pm if interested. Thanks.

Well if they don't get much more friendly than t5's I guess I'll just have to hold on to them. I have been reading on here that they are a mid - top pipe.

You might notice a lil difference netween them. Maybe. Maybe some PCs or some FMF knarlies? Dunno. You'd almost have to have them side by side I think.

My bike isn't jetted perfect yet, but it's close. Just feels like there is no bottom end then I get smacked in the face with the power band. Runs excellent up top, just needs a little more down low. Jetting is below. I have tested the motor and it's air tight.

.5 out on air screw. Ordered some 30's. Starts to get a lean bog off idle if I back it out.

When I was asking about trail pipes almost 10 years ago, I was told pt mids, or maybe some other pipes. I bought T5s before the post was answered. I'm sure there are better pipes than t5s for trail riding.

Nah. I think I'll just hold on to the t5's and try some other tuning/gearing. From what people are saying I wont notice a difference on bottom end going from t5's to a different pipe.

Forgot about the t6s. That might be an option for ya too. Never ran them personally. Those are supposed to be for a stockish motor and the t5s I think are supposed to have more top end then they do.

Ya t6 ran really good on my stock pump gas set up real torquey but still had a good power band , but after drag porting high comp and 35 carbs they don't perform we'll top end for my setup I have them there if you're intrested 928-287-9035

I keep reading how the t6's don't like porting. I think I will just keep them or hold out for some pt mids.

T5's were made for wide open desert racing, that's what every desert racer out here used to run.  Love the T5's on the dunes but hated them on the tight trails.  I liked the FMF fatties with stock carbs for the tight trails, easy to stay on the powerband.
