So Cal Suspension Posted August 9, 2013 Report Share Posted August 9, 2013 I've used these MANY times at the races. It's an amazing tool. We can groove a set of BFG Projects in about 30 minutes. I've never gotten to use it on an ATV tire, but it's fast as fuck on 38" Projects. I'd imagine it would go right through a little ATV tire. For anyone wondering, it's made by a company called Ideal. They sell all different blades for them in different widths. It's pretty much a tool that any hard core racer always has in their rig. Sometimes several. Terrain changes daily, and sometimes we end up grooving, or re-grooving tires in the middle of the race. Hands down the fastest, and best way to cut tires.
