he used to do that on the 250r motors to, they ran strong.

i have seen it on 4-strokes to "splash" the oil up to hit all over to cool the engine.

That's like the Briggs with the fucking splasher rods on them, just a swiveled stuck to splash oil everywhere. I can't see the tolerance between the crank and case being tight enough for "compression"
