Give the 22" CST Ambush a try. They're pretty inexpensive and they should work well in the dirt. They're a pretty soft compound though so I doubt they'll hold up well on the roads.

 

If you could go with 20" tires, I would recommend the Ohtsu MR501. They are a very hard hooking tire and work well in all applications.

 

Personally, I've never found any of the ITP or Maxxis tires to be worth a shit. They're heavy, overpriced and overrated.

Good call, I've been looking at tires too and the maxxis are just so damn expensive compared to everything else..

I run sti rears in a 22 dunno bout street use but they do well on aggressive trail use so far no punctures and hook well

STI Dirt Trax were discontinued last year. They are good tires though.

 

I actually have a set of them basically brand new sitting in my shop.
