intake boots leak problem ?

I purchased a I think a boss intake and after I purchased it some guys here said they are junk and leak, well it did not leak at first with my stock carbs and I installed 28pwk's and today was the first time I went out and rode hard at the dunes and it sprung a air leak somewhere, and I need to find out were it is leaking, It just lost the top end/power band so I sprayed carb fluid around the boots and it started to die so I know I have a leak.

 if I need to get new boots what  should I get, and were are they sold at ?

 I have 28PWK carbs

Also is the bolt spread 60mm ?

I run stock intake boots with 28pwk's

Jeff at fast and I believe TDR sell genuine mikuni boots.

Thanks, I do not use the cross over tube, the billet intake has the built in cross over so stock boots will not work.

Any other suggestions ?

toss that intake and get a stock setup

I have my stock set up, the billet just looks so dang much nicer...

i run the boss one piece for awhile now with no issues......do a leak down test, and spray soapy water around and you will find your leak.

so if its just leaking cant you take it apart use some sealant and try it again? or is it ripped?

I do not see any cracks in the boots so taking it apart and re sealing it might do the trick, I was just checking were to get the boots once I need them because I knew it would take a few days to find them so I am trying to get a jump on it. I know I will need them some day if not now.

I have not had the chance to track down the leak yet, I just know it is leaking around the intake.
