ban565 Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 Spray with starting fluid to see if it will fire.I had a new rebuild that won't fire for first time until I sprayed it. It started after without using starting fluid. Quote
J-Madd Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 If you're gonna go that route, use carb cleaner. Quote
bansheegoon Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 Read a few threads saying how bad starting fluid is on 2 strokes. If it won't start it needs to be tuned properly that's what they are made to do, kick start. Quote

joey83 Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Just spray it with carb cleaner or put some of your gas in a squiter can or whatever you have and shoot gas in it. If it starts and dies you will know its not getting fuel. 1 Quote
bansheegoon Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 To be more specific take the air filters off and have a buddy kick it while you shoot a lil gas in each carb. Be careful if you have a back fire you might have a fire on your hands. Quote
