Leadfoot350 Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 I was looking at the manifold from trinity and my v-force reeds. They dont even come close to matching up. Has anybody else noticed this. I took out the dremal and took off about 1\8 inch from the inside edge of the v-force reeds. I do not have a before and after ride test but I am sure that it will flow air and gas better. Please look at this and check what I am talking about. It is a huge miss match!!!!!! Oh ya and if you are going to put your quad on top of your 92 taurus make sure the tranny is in very good shape because I did this and made 131 miles and then it broke. Damm I really need a chevy does someone know anyone that can hook me up????????????? lates Quote
4strokekiller Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 did u cut off the rubber wings that come off of the intake i used a razorlade and it worked fine Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted October 30, 2003 Author Report Posted October 30, 2003 I am talking about the manifold meeting the reeds. On the 2-1 carb set up the ruber intake does not come in contact with the reeds at all. It goes carb to rubber to manifold to reeds then to the cylinders. Quote
