  1. i have a set on my shee and i love em. i definately would recommend getting rid of those fatties and getting the 916's. there is no other pipe out on the market that sounds as good as these do. i would definately get a pair if i were you.
  2. that makes two of us, i am currently looking for an intake and i think i am gonna go with boss but i cant find them anywhere but ebay. if you know were to buy a boss intake please post it. thanks
  3. im not sure but i think that you can have them professionally blown out by compressed air. my buddy has a kx125 with a couple dents in the pipe and i remember him talking about having them blown out
  4. 4yrs just re-enlisted for another go-round..... 283737[/snapback] Thats awesome im in the Navy right now i been in for almost 6 months and i am having fun so far. i am stationed in pensacola, fl right now because i am goin to school for aviation structural mechanics. my hat is off to all of the marines, you guys are kickin ass over there! hope to see ya out in the fleet.
  5. i basically have the same setup, i went to the pep boys auto store and picked up a pod of 3 gauges (they didnt sell the temp gauge by itself for 1 1/8 size gauge so i had to buy a set of three with two other gauges) well i went to the hardware store and made my own tee fitting to slip inside of my coolant hose and everything just screwed together. after i had it all together, i drilled a hole in my fender directly behind the right headlight on the back part of the fender near the fender support and i just put the temp gauge right in the hole. it turned out freakin awesome and i have had so many compliments on it the whole project cost me abot 30 bucks and about 45 mins

  8. i had a problem with stress marks on my plastics so i talked to some people and they said to take a heat gun to the plastics. first of all before you do this, you have to make sure that the plastic is really clean or else it will leave little pieces of dirt and dust melted into your plastics, after the plastic is clean just hit it with a heat gun until the white marks fade away. make sure that you dont get to close to the plastic or it will melt it. it takes about 10-20 seconds before you can see the stress marks fade. if they still dont go away keep tryin from both sides of the plastic. good luck
  9. DMC 916 they have the most bad ass sound. i have had so many other people compliment the sound of my pipes, they say that they have never heard another banshee sound like that before
  10. check the spark plugs and see if they are fouled, also make sure that your carbs are in sync
  11. i have been doing some research for new pistons. i have seen than trinity makes pistons with wiseco, they are called superlites i was just curious if anybody has ran a pair of these and if they are any better than pro lites. also if they are more reliable, they only cost about 20 bucks more than pro lites. thanks

  13. I am gettin my shee ported ina few weeks and i was wondering what intake manifold will work best. i am getting a pair of the keihin 33mm PWKs. i just need a good quality billet intake manifold that works good and is light on the wallet. thanks
  14. i have a 2000 banshee and i am planning on getting it ported from passion, 33mm keihin pwk's, billet intake and pro-lite pistons i am wondering if anybody has any suggestions for which clutch to get and a ballpark on how much it will cost to get all of the clutch components that i need. my stock clutch is holding up ok right now with the mods i have but i am questioning if the stock clutch will handle all of the extra power. any help will be greatly appriciated. thanks
  15. can i have a thumb throttle with 35mm carbs or do i have to change over to a twist throttle?? is it a hard job to switch the carbs with new ones??
  16. i am lookin for a website who sells the wiseco prolite pistons for the lowest price. also i was wondering what u guys would suggest for how much i should bore it over. i am getting it ported around christmas time and i am getting it bored at the same time.
  17. what is the best polish for chrome pipes i have heard that mothers chrome polish works pretty good and i have heard that blue magic is a pretty good polish. post ur tips. thanks
  18. i have heard a lot about trinitys porting. it costs about 350. i was wondering if anyone has a trinity ported motor and if its worth the money. i think the next 400 bucks i get will go towards a port job. thanks!
  19. last saturday i crashed my shee into the back of my truck and broke off both headlights. i completely wrecked the lights and housings. i was just wondering were i could get a pair of complete stock headlight new or used i dont care i just need new lights fast. also i was looking into the laser lights headlights i was wondering if anybody has them and if they like em. does anybody know how much for a pair of stock headlights???
  20. you will lose a little bottom end with the dmc's too but it is definately made up i the mid and top end. dmc all the way
  21. holy shit is all i have to say bout those pipes they are insane for mid a top end they scream!!. it sounds soooo badass i strongly reccomend the 916 pipes. a very good investment.
  22. 2 stroke all the way hey u know what they say...if u wanna go fast u gotta mix the gas. it takes twice the engine size of a 4 stroke to compete with a 2 stroke with half the displacement. 2 strokes forever!!!
  23. i have a 2000 banshee with dmc 916 pipes, k&Nairfilter with pro flow intake, pro design cool head, delta vforce 2 reed cages, holeshots and ohlins shock. my friend just got a stock yfz450 and he thinks he will blow me away. i dont think he will but we havnt had a chance to line up yet. i was just wondering who u guys think would win. thanks!
  24. i run the dmc 916 pipes on my 2000 banshee and i have not lost a race yet. i have raced a 98 pontiac grand prix gtp and smoked him by a good 400 ft. i raced a 2000 kx125 and it wasnt even worth my time and gas. it was pitiful how badly i smoked him. i also raced a worked 400ex on wet grass with stock tires he beat me outta the hole because i spun 1st through 4th, once i hooked 5th i flew past him. i also raced a cr250 and a yz250 the cr stayed right with me until about 5th or bottom of 6th than i would pull away. the 2000 yz 250 is the only bike that stayed with me but i didnt get into 6th gear. maybe next time.
