wiring questions on new build

do the wires for the parking brake switch need to be hooked up if i have no parking brake ?  and what about the wires coming out of throttle housing ?   .  thanks

Cut it all out and silicone the hole in the throttle housing.

my throttle housing dont have the wires coming out of it. so just silicone it up ?     what should i do with parking brake wires ?

Yup just silicone the housing from the inside is what I did.

 

P-brake, just cut them back as far as you like. I cut mine right back to the harness and electrical taped, then heat shrunk them to seal it all up.

 

Good to go.

On the thumb throttle, chop the wires, slide the grommet off the wires, put the grommet in the thumb throttle and put black silicone in the hole in the grommet. Or, if you're really into bling, Cascade Innovations makes a really nice billet plug for that spot. I have their billet plug for the clutch cover, but don't have the billet thumb throttle plug yet.

I cut 14 wires out of my wire harness t.o.r.s and brake light wires. thinking about cutting 6 more wires to wires drive me nuts .

dont just chop the wires and tape them up. spend the time and remove all the unwanted wires from the harness. it will look much cleaner
