Most tracks like less pressure. Start at no higher than 3.5 psi and go down 1/4 psi until you get the best 60 ft. JMO.

I would say 3 tenths or more decrease in e.t. With the override.

ok thanks I was usually around 5lb but maby thats a bit high. and even running that low you don't have to worry about tires spinning on the rim?

What tire pressure do you guys run at the dunes when your dragging? At little sahara when the sand started getting wet from everyone racing(snowed the day before) I couldnt launch in second had to start in first.

Jayhawk in that situation  I would try to air up a little , make the tire harder and spin easier .  but then again that depends on the type of tire you running !  just my opinon

Jay hawk  after thinking it about it some,  airing up may cause it to dig more ! airing down would let it float on top  , its a fine line,  all you can do is keep trying diff pressures ...   yep  I would start at 3.5 -3.0 with those tires .

Haulers have worked for me at little sahara at 3 or 4 psi. Extremes about 3psi.

It sometimes depends on the carcass of the tire. Many of the newer skattraks in the last 5 years or so are very square instead of crowned and have to have less air to work right. Even tho they will look flat and square.
