trav-99 Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 i also use a CFM alum. air box with twin k&n's. i ran open pods on my old banshee and water/mud was ALWAYS an issue and caused high maintance, sucked in water many times and eventually caused the throttle slides to start wearing and chipping off. never again will i run open filters. it really depends on where, and when you ride. in rainy wet pennsylvania you need extra protection. and outerwears didn't help either. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
