Was a Lil concerned about getting them to fit right after all the nightmare story's I have heard about. It took me a Lil while to figure them out, but once that was solved the pipes fit like a glove and look amazing... Quote
dozer Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 I had the same experience at first. I argued with loco and a few others because they were saying the shearers didnt fit well and were low quality etc.mine were perfect when i bolted em on, Then a few months later the rivets started falling out of the silencers. Next the chrome started peeling off in a few spots and top it off with cracks starting by the mounting tabs on the head pipes on both sides. Hope your fortune is better than mine. Quote

thomas h. Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Don't use the after market pipe mounts. Stick with the factory rubber mounts to keep them from cracking off the mount tabs. Also shearer sells raw pipes to other suppliers and those suppliers are using lower grade chrome or nickel also clean your chrome with proper stuff Quote
