marcusb Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 HI i was wondering how to get a banshee to be able to start without the key plugged in? On my snowmobile all you need to do is unplug it so i tried that but no luck...any help is appreciated! Quote
sheerider11 Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 Unplug it, twist the black and red with black stripe ( I think those are the colors)together Quote
jlaits Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 If you dont want to cut the wires just stick a U shaped wire terminal into the plug. Just be careful not to bend the pins. On my 96 the plug has four holes but only two has wires. Quote
marcusb Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 So the 2 wires that plug into the key im assuming? Easiest way would be to splice them ? Quote

Cut it, twist the wires, problem solved . Quote
marcusb Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 Could i use like a wire splicer thing. It basically clamps on tho the wire and cuts thru the wire casing into the wire itself and when you close it it connects the two wires. Would that work? Quote

Would that work?like the one you get to install on a radio from best buy?On my bike I used a butt connector. Quote

That'd be a 3M Scotchlock, it will work, but when your bike acts up, check that first. Quote
marcusb Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 Ok ya i figured it would work and if I dont like it i can always take it out. Thanks for all the help. Quote
