Uf21 Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 A buddy of mine had a head on accident with another friend and his banshee tipped on its side. After that the banshee would start but turn off as soon as you let go off the accelerator. Fast forward 2 weeks. I fixed his throttle box and then tried to kick the banshee again, it started first kick and then let it run for 2 minutes without letting go off the accelerator then when I let go it turned off and wouldnt start again. I changed the spark plugs and disconnected the tors cable but still wouldnt start. I will be cleaning his carbs on the weekend, any tips? Something that is different now is when he pulls the choke out it just goes back in, it wont stay out. What could be the problem? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 Start with cleaning the carbs real good . And not just a quick douche with spray. You may have had crap in the bowls that made it's way to a jet when rolled. Then check electrical connections. Tors disabled? Quote
