01BANSHEE20 Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 my banshee(1999) will not rev. it idles but rough after i cut thee green and yellow wire coming from the cdi. it idles low and like tings and if i puch the gas it bogs. i know it is electrical not fuel problem. when i hook the green wire back up and twist the wires to the parking brake switch it gains a thousand rpm but does the same thing.the throttle switch is cut also HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!! my kill switch is fine and key switch is bypassed. thanks in advance. im stumped motor is grounded. i guess i just need to know what wires to twist, cut or disable Quote
marcusb Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Not sure but, if you want to get rid of the tors for it to work properly youll need to buy the T.O.R.S eliminator kit, if you hook up all wires that you cut it should run fine, Best guess is hook up green and yellow wires back up. Maybe TPS is fried? Not sure sorry man Quote
oldskool Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 When you do a tors delete, you have to unplug the little black box below gas tank on left side of bike. Not sure what your trying to do with the wires Quote
