CPI's vs Paul Turners

Can anybody tell me the chrarcteistics of Paul Turners?  Anybody used both? I am currently running in frame cpis, like the pipes but am tired of fighting the tight fit with my a/m mikuni flat slide carbs.  Will Paul turners clear the carbs better?  I ride dunes only and like to hill climb will the low to mid paul turners be a good fit for that?   7mm crank, 68mm bore.

Ya swap you'll lose some top end. Ive never used pts tho. Maybe try and find a set to barrow

The PT high revs would be a more comparable pipe. Sounds like you have quite the stroke and bore so the displacement will ake care of the bottom end. Maybe some rockets or R2's. The shearers will be tight as well. Ever think Of an out of frame?

or do what i did get some intakes that get the carbs away from the pipes

Where did you get the intakes?  I'm considering out of frame but have a hard enough time loading the toy hauler as it is.

Shay at wildcard. They had them on there bikes one with cpis one with shearers everything fits more better

Hey finch, is Wildcard making their own intake?

Or re route your stinger tubes.  We have done this with shearers and the clearence is nice.  Come up over the top of the carbs and down the middle under the center of the seat.  I have the CDI and regulator remounted up front and stingers out the center in the back.  You can do this with or without silencers.  Cheaper than buying a new set of pipes.  You might want to talk to a builder to find out how long the pipe should be as this can effect performance also.  We got the length for mine fro Cam at Redline.
