I was wondering cause my bike is pretty much ready to go back together , and I dont have time to ship them off to get done. Is there a paint that will go on cylinders that will look good and not flake or wear off that quick? Has anyone tried this? Quote

trickedcarbine Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 In all actuality, just about any paint that sticks to aluminum will be fine. My first big bore motor just had silver Rustoleum patio furniture paint on it from the rattle can. Was on there for 4 years and never held grease, never flaked, and never discolored. The cylinders really don't get as hot as some think. Not like the exhaust. Quote
