That pretty much covers it. The only thing I didn't hear touched on was the clutch. There is a drastic difference between your banshee and that 4 stroke you compared it to. Especially if the guy before you said he put a HD replacement in. You can help it by getting a fresh cable and routing it with out any major bends and keep it lubed. Also get your self a nice perch and lever. Steer clear of the junk magnum one.something like an ASV or Wertz would help drastically. Maybe go back to a lighter spring since your bike probably doesn't really need the heavy springs.

 

The last option that would be costly but if you are serious about a really easy pull. Get a lock up so you can run the lightest springs possible but not have clutch slip. A bit over kill, but I think if I build another trail bike it'll definitely get one just so I can put really soft springs in it.
