houghkyle Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Does anyone have any good ideas of how to clean the excess castor 927 residue off the base of the exhaust? Quote
JayCLL Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I use simple green than put a polish wheel on it. Looks brand new Quote
houghkyle Posted February 6, 2013 Author Report Posted February 6, 2013 Will that get rid of the sticky hard residue? Quote
04_blu_shee Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 WD-40 like Paul said it also works to clean chain lube that has slung everywhere Quote
skywalker7374 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 I use this degreaser called LA's totally Awesome, it takes carbon right off of pistons, but you have to soak them. I just dump the bottle in there in concentrated form, plug both ends and let it sit. It eats the shit out of the oil deposits and such. I try to fill the pipes half full, lay it on one side for a day then on the other. You will be amazed of the shit that comes out when you dump it. Quote
skywalker7374 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 I really think any degreaser would work, you just have to let it sit for 24 hours to really let it do its job. Quote
Yanbansh04 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Use degreaser or metal chrome polish.. Quote
zachass9 Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Nothing works better for the baked on stuff than oven cleaner and super fine steel wool. Quote
