vulvafan537240 Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 Throttle may be adjusted wrong Quote
booxzzy Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 they should be almost all the way down and lift simultaneously Quote
stumoss Posted February 2, 2013 Author Report Posted February 2, 2013 To get it to idle I have to lift them 3/8 to 1/2 inch Quote
oldskool Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 If you did tors delete, then you have idle screw on each carb. Turn those in until you achieve desired idle. Your carbs should be synced before and check again after adjustments Quote
dozer Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 You have the slides on the correct side? Quote
stumoss Posted February 3, 2013 Author Report Posted February 3, 2013 Yes the slides are on the right side, they just seem really high. And I got a hesitation mid throttle that's what I'm trying to eliminate Quote
Larry's Shee Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Clean your carbs, set floats, list your current jetting Quote
icytea132 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 You have the slides on the correct side? yup done that before actually runs like poopoo has hesitation at half throttle and look all the way down and won't idle unless excessive throttle is given. Quote
Jereme6655 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 look into the backsides of your carbs while they're on the bike....you should see a halfmoon cut out on the bottom of both the carbs.....if its a straight cut across the bottom of the slide then they are in backward.... Quote
